Why Use Gtechniq Ceramic Base?
Ceramic Base forms a protective barrier which is extremely hard and exceptionally durable. This makes it very effective at preventing swirling and minor scratching from poor washing techniques. With great gloss retention, Ceramic Base becomes the functional surface of the gelcoat.
- Perfect – If applying directly to Gelcoat or topcoat, polish the surface to remove any imperfections.
- Degrease – Ceramic Top bonds best to surgically clean surfaces. Use Gtechniq Panel Wipe and a Gtechniq MF1 Microfibre to remove all polish residue.
- Application – Soak the application pad with product. Spread onto an area measuring no more than 2’ by 2’ (60 x 60cm) and remove residue with a Gtechniq MF1 Microfibre.
Product Usage – The amount of product you will need will vary depending on factors such as the microporosity of either your gel coat or marine topcoat. The amount of product required will be anywhere between 5.5 to 7ml/square meter (0.5 to 0.7 ml/square foot).
If opened, use within 3 months, if unopened, use within 12 months
